Business Profile
Your Business Profile is your professional identity on dronelist.io. It controls how you appear in the provider directory (a unified listing of independent pilots and drone companies), what information is visible to others, and how clients can find and evaluate you. Everything is managed from one page with a sidebar for quick edits and tabs for detailed sections.Profile sections
The Business Profile page uses a sidebar + tabs layout. The sidebar lets you edit core identity fields with autosave — changes are saved as you type. The main area has five tabs:Profile completeness
The Overview tab shows a completeness score based on 10 fields. Each completed field adds 10% to your score:
A complete profile ranks higher in the directory and gives potential clients more confidence in your capabilities.
Credentials
Credentials prove your qualifications — licenses, certificates, waivers, and more. Each credential tracks its type, issuing authority, dates, and verification status.Credential types

Insurance status
Insurance status is computed from dates, not set manually. If the current date is between the effective and expiration dates, the policy shows as Active. Past the expiration date, it shows as Expired. Policies expiring within 30 days show an Expiring Soon warning. You can also manually override the status to Cancelled, Pending, or Suspended for policies that need special handling regardless of dates.Availability
Control when you are available for bookings and let others see your schedule.Working hours
Set your working hours for each day of the week. You can define multiple time slots per day (e.g., 8:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00) and disable days you don’t work. Three schedule views help you visualize your hours: list, grid, and timeline.Booking preferences
Google Calendar integration
Connect your Google Calendar to sync busy times with your availability. When connected:- Your calendar events overlay on your availability schedule
- Busy times from Google Calendar block those slots automatically
- The availability API reflects both your working hours and calendar conflicts
Visibility settings
Control which sections of your profile are visible to others. Each section can be set to one of three visibility levels:Section defaults
You can change visibility for each section independently using the visibility settings dialog on your profile.
Directory listing
Your profile can appear in the public pilot directory, making you discoverable by potential clients. Toggle directory listing on or off from the sidebar. When listed, your directory card shows:- Profile photo, name, and headline
- Location and service area
- Services you offer (badges)
- Flight hours and experience
Tips
Complete your profile to 100%
Complete your profile to 100%
A complete profile builds trust. Clients checking your directory listing want to see credentials, insurance, equipment, and experience — not blank sections. Aim for 100% completeness before turning on your directory listing.
Keep credentials and insurance up to date
Keep credentials and insurance up to date
Expired credentials and insurance policies hurt your credibility. Set calendar reminders for renewal dates, or check the expiration warnings that appear on your Credentials and Insurance tabs.
Review your visibility defaults
Review your visibility defaults
Insurance and contact info default to Hidden for privacy. If you want clients to see your coverage details or reach you directly, update those sections to Public or Network Only.
Connect Google Calendar for accurate scheduling
Connect Google Calendar for accurate scheduling
Without calendar integration, your availability only reflects your set working hours. Connecting Google Calendar ensures that one-off meetings, personal events, and other commitments block your schedule automatically.
